Cathrine B Designs has quickly become known as the provinces leading bridal jewellery artist. With features in many leading bridal magazines its no wonder Cathrine is flat out creating jewellery for some of Irelands biggest weddings.

1. Tell us about your business and the service that you provide?

I am a bridal jewellery and accessory designer based in Belfast. I have a range of bridal collections that are sold through varoius bridal boutiques in Ireland, and I also create unique one-off designs for brides and the whole bridal party.
I work in mainly Swarovski, combining pearls , crystals and stones to create something that will compliment the dress beautifully.

2. How long have you been running your business?

I have been in business now for nearly 4 years.

3. Why do you enjoy working within the wedding Industry?

A wedding day is a huge occassion in every womans life, and to be able to work alongside a bride to create something beautiful that she will treasure both on the day, and in the future is a fantastic feeling.

4. Tell us the process from contacting you until the day a person wears your jewellery?  (Do they visit your studio? Do they have a fitting and measuring session? Etc...)

Generally a new customer will either contact the studio via the website or email, or if recommended by a previous customer on the phone. I then arrange a suitable time for them to call into my work studio to view the full range of bridal collection and to discuss what they would like for their wedding.

It can take anything from between 4-12 weeks to create a new design to compliment a bridal gown, depending on the detail and as I source some of my Swarovski materials from Paris and New York.
